Robert Song's Running

I'm over 50 and been running off and on since 1968. I have run everything from 800m to 10k on the track, to half marathons (PB 1:21 Brisbane 1993) and marathons (PB 2:53 Gold Coast 1985).

Wednesday 14.6k @ HR 136 Pace 5:22

14.6k 1:18:23. HR Avg 136 Max 155 Avg Pace 5:22
Course: Work to Home.
Start Time: 5:25 pm Temp 20C.
Session Type: Sub 72%MxHR Easy Run

Got a call from the smash repairs today. No car till at least the end of next week. Looks like lots more running to home still to go.

It was another steamy evening tonight. Even though I was going relatively slowily, I still ended up a ball of sweat. The section from Bowen Bridge took 67:28 at avg HR 137. Australia plays Kuwait at 3:30 am tomorrow morning. I will tape it and watch it when I get up. I need all the sleep I can get at the moment.

you know, i was never a fan of the song "Wednesday 14.6 @ HR 136 Pace 5:22" because it just had no rhythm and the lyrics were really trite.

do you run with a pack on the back? how do you do that?

the good thing about taping something sometimes is the ability to erase it without ever watching it
