This week I have decided I must be more disciplined with my runs. Last week I wanted to just run easy but ended up always running too fast which was putting more stress than they need at this stage of my recovery. So tonight I was determined to keep around the HR135 mark which I did. At the end of May I ran this same course at that same HR the day after a 32 k run and I managed 4:56 pace. YIKES!! Tonight's 5:26 pace really shows just how much base fitness I have lost in the last six weeks.

Hey, I listen to your advice re easy runs (truly, I do) so you'd better keep listening to yourself!
