Robert Song's Running

I'm over 50 and been running off and on since 1968. I have run everything from 800m to 10k on the track, to half marathons (PB 1:21 Brisbane 1993) and marathons (PB 2:53 Gold Coast 1985).

Monday Recovery in the Gym

Just a recovery day today after yesterday's effort. Started with 10 minutes on the exercise bike and then spent 20 minutes on the treadmill at 6:00m/k pace. Finished it off with some stretches and ab work. The arm is not up to weights just yet though.

I have realised that i spend a lot of time doing track races club road races mountain running etcetera that i probably don't have a huge base like yourself.I am practically running at full pace all the time.I will take your posts/blog as another helpful hint!

It's good that your scars are healing quickly i think the improved bloodflow does do the trick. As for the Camberra marathon... well i might come down for the 10k the night before as its only 3hrs drive and friends are going.
