Robert Song's Running

I'm over 50 and been running off and on since 1968. I have run everything from 800m to 10k on the track, to half marathons (PB 1:21 Brisbane 1993) and marathons (PB 2:53 Gold Coast 1985).

The day after the first day back

Wednesday 30th Jan

6.5k 34:20 @ 5:16 HR 141 . A little quicker than yesterday but still taking it easy. So far so good. A huge down pour in the last K got me home completely soaked.

Well they were all off to school today. It is Ducky's 17th Birthday and her last first day of school day.

I can now settle back into a routine and get some control back into my world.

Hopefully a man's world.

    So far so good indeed.

Nice clip, although mine starts skipping at 2:29 - I get the idea though. Nothing like getting the females out of the house ;)

Beautiful kids Robert song. Good thing you have the young boy as well, someone else to blame for leaving the toilet seat up or not up whatever the case may be.. With that many girls in your house it must be a regular topic of conversation ;)

i guess for you Libra isn't the same as balance.

cute songlets. what do you have, three arias and a jingle?

you're just a few short of the von Trapps. do you command them with a whistle or do they know what to do by the various bongo drum beats you thump out?

Just catching up on blogs, and was disturbed to read about your hammy. Glad to hear that it's on the mend.

Back to school must be a little bit of sanity for you. The opposite is true for me; holidays are productive because there isn't a stream of students at my office door!

Good to hear that you have a routine while on LSL Robert Song. I am glad the hammy is healing.
    You have a beautiful family.
