Week 82.5k
Mth 215k
Year 2,845k

Another steady week of base building. I am now really keen on getting past 346k this month to set a month PB. With just easy running it shouldn't be too difficult. My biggest risk is getting sick as Ducky and Dory have both had colds. Still you only catch a cold in a taper so I should be OK.

Must be hard having to navigate around colds during summery weather. I've been having fair success by chowing down on Vitamin C on a regular basis and upping the dose when a cold looms or strikes. I have got through this autumn with only a mild cold while most of the members of the house had repeated episodes (TOUCH WOOD!!!)

Nice consistent mileage you are doing at present.

Not strictly correct - you can also catch a cold in a 'reverse taper'. Be careful not to become desiccated and you should be fine ;)

Steve forgot to tell you that regular downing of home brews is also helpful in warding off colds.

    Great work there RS.

Did you know there was a half marathon this Sunday, organised by the boarders from Churchie. I did the event last year and it was very low key but terrific. I think it starts at 6am at the West End Citycat stop but am trying to find out more info. Can let you know if you like.

Perhaps if you did an extra lap around teh block at the end of each run you'd smash the 346?

Geez, nice k's! I'm still trying to get back to 100 km per month. Oh well, not again this year, cause I'm off on OS holidays without my shoes.......

Enjoy the rest of the year, have a great festive season, and see you next year!
