Robert Song's Running

I'm over 50 and been running off and on since 1968. I have run everything from 800m to 10k on the track, to half marathons (PB 1:21 Brisbane 1993) and marathons (PB 2:53 Gold Coast 1985).

Monday - a real recovery session

21:00. HR Avg 94 Max 113
Session Type: Recovery

For the beginning of the taper, my recovery tonight consisted of 10 minutes walking on the treadmill and the 11 minutes on the gym bike. Just a matter of slowily turning the legs over. Then I did some stretching and Pilates floor exercises.

Great work on Sunday Robert Song. This last three weeks are going to fly by. We just have to be careful not to over-indulge in chocolate. Unless it is Dark chocolate....that is good for the arteries.

What a good feeling to have the long runs done. But your recovery session is far too sensible in my opinion. Any time i try to do that, i end up doing 8-10k and hurting myself. like it!
    stay well - almost there!

Great work on the long run. Pity this cool change didn't arrive just a few days early. Typical!
